Brown Mascaras

Brown mascara is perfect for creating a more natural look, while still enhancing your eyes and lengthening your lashes. While black has long been the go-to choice for many, there are now plenty of brands that offer your can’t-live-without formulas in brown too - including Bobbi Brown and YSL. Brown mascaras are great for those with paler complexions and light-coloured hair, where black mascaras may look too harsh. They're also great for anyone wanting to create a natural ‘no-makeup makeup’ look.

That’s not to say brown mascara can’t be used to create evening styles too. Brown mascara can add drama to a hazy, smokey eye. And it can completely transform pink, peachy, green, and gold eye makeup too. Because there are different shades of brown to choose from - light, natural and dark brown - you can find a brown mascara that perfectly complements your complexion.

Whether you want to curl, lengthen, or volumise your lashes, there’s a brown mascara just for you. Eyeko’s Limitless Lengthening Mascara adds enviable length to even the shortest lashes, while the YSL Lash Clash Extreme Volume is all about dramatic volume. Struggle with short, straight lashes? Turn to the Rimmel Volume Thrill Seeker Mascara - it’s packed with conditioning ingredients to nourish your lashes, while offering gravity-defying curling abilities.
